A suburban community of Clark County, Salmon Creek is situated just north of Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon’s metropolitan area. The community covers approximately 6.3 square miles, and, has a population of roughly 20,000.
The community has long been known as a popular, high-demand area because of its strong schools, convenient location, and the quality of life area residents enjoy. It is home to the Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital, the Salmon Creek Kaiser Clinic, and the beautiful 350 acre Washington State University campus. Additionally, the area features an abundance of shopping, dining, and services.
The community is blessed with a variety of recreational opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast. Salmon Creek Park and Klineline Pond feature 35 acres of developed parkland and 368 acres of un-developed greenspace. Salmon Creek Park also offers swimming, picnicking, and covered areas for special events and is the eastern trailhead for the Salmon Creek Trail, a three-mile trail open to hikers, rollerbladers, equestrians, and cyclists. Youth sports are an integral part of the Salmon Creek community as well.
